So this is what they mean by an open roadstead anchorage…

We spent the night at anchor off the Municipal Pier in Santa Cruz. Remember Captain Ron’s first depiction of the sailboat rocking at the dock? That was pretty much us all night, dock not included :) I think today we’ll go into the harbor and get a slip :D
